1. How do I analyze a text?

• Open the app and go to the Home screen.
• Enter or paste the text you want to learn (such as lyrics, articles, dialogues, etc.).
• Tap the Analyze button to submit.
• Wait for the AI to process your text – the analysis will appear sentence by sentence.
• Tap any word in a sentence to see detailed vocabulary explanations.

2. What does the text analysis include?

Each sentence analysis includes:

• Translation: Natural, idiomatic translation (not word-for-word)
• Nuance Explanation: Tone, emotional context, and cultural subtleties
• Vocabulary: Tap any word to see its meaning, pronunciation, word type, and usage notes
• Grammar Points: Detailed explanations of grammar structures used in the sentence
• Context Relationship: How the sentence connects to surrounding content

You can also edit all explanations to customize them for your learning needs!

3. How do I bookmark vocabulary or grammar points?

• When viewing vocabulary or grammar details, tap the Bookmark (star/heart) icon.
• Access your saved items from the My Favorites section in the navigation bar.
• You can filter bookmarks by word type, source text, or date added.

4. How do the practice exercises work?

Text Alchemy offers multiple practice modes:

• Fill-in-the-Blank: Complete sentences with the correct vocabulary
• Matching: Match words with their meanings
• Multiple Choice: Select the correct translation
• Sentence Reordering: Arrange scrambled words to form correct sentences

You can practice from a specific text or across all your analyzed texts. Each question shows its source text for easy reference.

5. The AI analysis seems incorrect. What can I do?

• AI analysis may occasionally have errors, especially for complex or ambiguous content.
• You can edit any translation, vocabulary, or grammar explanation directly in the app.
• Your edits are saved and will appear in future reviews and practices.
• If you encounter consistent issues, please contact us with examples so we can improve.

6. I purchased a premium subscription but features are still limited.

• Restart the app completely (force close and reopen).
• Go to the Settings screen and tap Restore Purchases.
• Ensure you're logged into the same Apple ID or Google account used for the purchase.
• Check your internet connection – subscription status requires network verification.

7. How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

iOS:

• Go to Settings → Tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions.
• Find Text Alchemy and tap Cancel Subscription.

Android:

• Open Google Play Store → Tap your profile icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Find Text Alchemy and tap Cancel.

8. How do I change the app language?

• Go to Settings from the navigation bar.
• Tap Language and select your preferred interface language.
• The app supports 20+ languages including English, Chinese (Traditional/Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, and more.

9. How do I backup or transfer my data?

• Go to Settings → Data Management.
• Tap Export Data to save all your texts and learning records.
• To restore, tap Import Data and select your backup file.
• If you're logged in, your data syncs to the cloud automatically.

10. Is my data secure?

• Your texts and learning data are encrypted and stored securely.
• We use industry-standard security measures (SSL/TLS encryption).
• Your submitted texts are processed by AI for analysis only – we do not use them to train AI models.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
